Point tricot modifié / Modified knit stitch

Un autre point de base assez connu au CT est le point tricot (PTT).
Ainsi nommé car le rendu est assez proche du point jersey au tricot. Mais attention: ne vous méprenez pas. Les mécaniques de construction du CT et du tricot sont tout à fait différentes. Avec le même fil, l'ouvrage au point tunisien tricot sera toujours plus épais, plus dense que celui réalisé au tricot.
Bref, cela ressemble à du tricot, mais ce n'est pas du tricot.
Another well known basic stitch in TC is the knit stitch (TKS). Called like this because it looks like knitting. They only look similar but they are not built at all the same way. With the exact same yarn, the Tunisian knit stitch will always be thicker, denser than the "knitted knit stitch".

Pour faire le point tricot, insérez le crochet entre la barre verticale avant et la barre verticale arrière sous la chainette. DROPS a fait une petite vidéo pour montrer le point tricot au CT. Le titre parle de la maille endroit, traduction que je trouve assez malheureuse en français. Dans la littérature sur le crochet tunisien en français, il est plus souvent question de point tunisien tricot.
To make the Tunisian knit stitch, insert your hook in between the front and back vertical bars, below the chains worked on the previous return pass. DROPS has a nice video to show how to work the Tunisian knit stitch.

Autre variante, moins connue, mais au rendu intéressant: le point tricot modifié (PTT mod). C'est un nom de point que j'ai inventé de toute pièce, faute d'avoir trouvé une description où que ce soit dans des livres ou sur internet. Si vous avez des références sur ce point, je vous encourage à les partager.
Other option, less known, but with an interesting texture: the modified knit stitch (mod TKS). I'm not too sure about how this stitch is called actually. I have not found any reference to this stitch in any book or on internet. Should you know this stitch under another name, please share it.

Le PTT mod se travaille comme le PTT, mais au lieu d'insérer le crochet entre la barre verticale avant et la barre verticale arrière sous la chainette horizontale, il faut insérer le crochet entre les 2 barres verticales ET sous les brins supérieur et arrière de la chainette. L'aiguille sur la photo passe entre les brins verticaux, au-dessus du brin inférieur de la chainette, mais en-dessous des brins supérieur et arrière.
The mod TKS is worked like the TKS, but instead of inserting your hook between the front and back vertical bars under the horizontal chain, insert your hook between the front and back vertical bars AND under the top and back threads of the chain. The needle on the picture goes in between vertical bars, above the bottom thread of the chain but underneath the top and back threads.
