Le point simple dans la barre arrière se construit en insérant le crochet sous la barre verticale arrière. The simple stitch is built by inserting the hook under the front vertical bar. The knit stitch is created by inserting the hook from front to back of work in between the front and back vertical bars. The full stitch is worked under the horizontal chains between vertical bars. The simple stitch under the back vertical bar is similar to the simple stitch but worked under the back vertical bar, not the front bar.
Les points cités ci-dessus se construisent en insérant le crochet sous la chaînette horizontale. Cette chaînette horizontale sera donc mécaniquement poussée vers l'arrière de l'ouvrage. Above mentioned stitches are created by working under the horizontal chains. These chains are mechanically pushed towards the back of the work.
Ces points peuvent être "modifiés" en les travaillant dans la chaînette horizontale. Le visuel sera légèrement différent. Le poids et la traction des points seront mieux répartis entre l'endroit et l'envers de l'ouvrage. These stitches can be worked in a "modified" way, by inserting the hook in the horizontal chains as well. Visually the difference may not be striking, but the balance between front and back sides of work will be improved. This is due to the fact that the horizontal chains are not fully pushed to the back of the work.
Il est aussi possible de relever des mailles en passant le crochet par-dessus la chaînette horizontale. Cette différence est loin d'être un détail. La chaînette horizontale est poussée vers l'avant de l'ouvrage, modifiant considérablement le visuel de l'ouvrage, mais aussi l'enroulement. It is also possible to pick up stitches by working behind the horizontal chains. This is not a small difference. Stitches picked up this way will push the horizontal chains to the front side of the work. This will help fighting against curling as well as changing the visual aspect of the work.
Le point arrière se travaille en passant donc le crochet par-dessus la chaînette horizontale, sous la barre verticale arrière. The reverse stitch is worked by inserting the hook under the back vertical bar, from the back of the work.
