Dans cet article, je présente 2 points: le torse et le torse inversé. In this article I describe 2 stitches: the twisted up stitch and the twisted down stitch.
Le point tunisien simple torse (ou point torse) se travaille dans la barre verticale avant, mais au lieu d'insérer le crochet de droite à gauche, il faut l'insérer de gauche à droite sous la barre verticale avant.
Pour y arriver facilement, utilisez le menton du crochet pour agripper la barre verticale avant par la gauche vers la droite. La tête du crochet est tournée vers le haut et ressort vers le dessus de l'ouvrage. Faire un jeté et tirer une boucle. The twisted up stitch is worked under the front vertical bar, but instead of inserting the hook from right to left (as in standard simple stitch), insert the hook from left to right under the front vertical bar. You may find it easier to use the chin of the hook to pull the vertical bar from the left to the right. The head of the hook is turned face up and moves upwards. Yarn over and pull up a loop.
La différence d'un point de vue visuel avec le point simple de base est subtile. Mais combiné à d'autres points, le point torse peut complètement changer l'apparence d'un projet. Visually, rows of twisted up stitches look much like rows of simple stitches. But used in combination with other stitches, the slanted stitch can make a big difference.

Ces deux points donnent des résultats très différents. Il est donc important de ne pas les confondre. These 2 stitches are very different from each other. It is important not to mix them up.
Note: La terminologie du crochet tunisien n'est pas standardisée. Vous pouvez donc retrouver des noms différents pour les points décrits dans ce blog. Par chance, en français, les ressources étant maigres, il y a peu de matière à divergences. Ce n'est pas le cas de l'anglais.
Note: Tunisian crochet terminology is not standardized and you may come across different names for the twisted stitches. I heard about the slanted stitch for the twisted UP stitch. Some patterns may only use the name "twisted stitch" without indication about the direction of the twist (up or down). In any case, when a stitch description is about twisting the front vertical bar, bear in mind that you can twist it up or twist it down. If a stitch pattern does not work as expected when you twist a simple stitch, tr twisting it the other way.
